The 2023 Society Lecture Series concludes with a special presentation of The Sinking of Gwendoline Steers. Edward Carr, historian and author of “Faded Laurels”, discusses the story of the tugboat that sank during an ice storm in Long Island Sound resulting in the loss of the entire crew of nine. Learn more about the events that transpired and the lives of those lost in the tragedy, followed by Q&A. Refreshments will be served. All Ages Welcome.
