For over 50 years, the Northport Chamber of Commerce has strived to support the business community through innovative year-round programs, effective networking opportunities, and continuous community outreach and through cultural events we achieve our collective goal to enrich the quality of the commercial, civic, and social life in Northport.

Fueling Growth

The Chamber represents both economic and social growth to our members and community. Our monthly meetings allow businesses to network, exchange ideas, opinions and receive business leads and referrals from one another.

Our Board members work behind the scenes to explore ideas that will draw visitors and create business opportunities. The publication of Discover Northport, our shopping and recreational guide, which includes a complete listing of all seasonal events, is widely used by residents and visitors alike. Our website and robust social media presence helps support local businesses and draws more visitors to explore our charming village.

Networking Events

As a new member, we invite you to introduce yourself at one of our upcoming networking events. You can give a brief 5 minute introduction or, if you’d like to be a featured speaker, we can schedule a 15-20 minute presentation at a later date for you. If there is more than one speaker then your time will be limited to 10 minutes. Check our website for all events.

Business Spotlight Features

We’d love to showcase your business in a “Business Spotlight” post! This feature is published on our website and sent as an email blast to all chamber members. Simply send us a write-up with photos, and we’ll promote it across our social media platforms.

Due to high demand, we schedule on a first-come, first-served basis, but usually post within 3 weeks of receipt. You can find past examples on our homepage.

Ribbon Cuttings

We would be happy to partner with you on a ribbon cutting ceremony for your business, whether it's a grand opening, an anniversary event, or a reopening. Ribbon cuttings can be scheduled on Wednesdays or Thursdays after 5 PM. We cannot provide ribbon cuttings on weekends due to scheduling conflicts and to ensure that as many Board members as possible are able to attend. Instagram Collaborations

If you create an Instagram post, you can invite the Northport Chamber of Commerce to “collaborate” on it. This allows you to cross-post onto our Instagram feed and expand your business' reach.

We have over 6,500 followers that Member businesses can leverage beyond their own social networks.
